As a passionate believer in the pleasure that a love of good food can bring to everyday life, I truly enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with others. Starting my career in a hectic London fusion restaurant, I went on to set up an Australian style café serving the best coffee and simple food around, and soon after opened the first of two Divertimenti cookery schools. Through talking to my customers and teaching classes, I hope that I have developed an understanding of what real people like to cook and eat. My first book, The Divertimenti Cookbook hit the shelves in May 2007 - It is the product of five years of teaching and a lifetime of cooking and eating. My aim is to demystify cooking so that even the most hesitant cook will feel that they have created something special.
The Lemon Tree Cookery School!
Teaching small numbers of students in a specially designed kitchen in North Kensington, The Lemon Tree aims to bring culinary enlightenment to cooks of all abilities through a series of hands-on cookery classes.
